Art from Emerging Markets is currently under-represented globally, and we want to change that.
Our goal is to celebrate the energy, light and talent that we have witnessed while working across Africa, Eastern Europe and the Middle East through the eyes of their emerging talent.
We have invited six artists from different countries across the emerging market nations with which we work, to give us insight into their lives through their incredible art.
This exhibition was centred around the crucial role that women have played in shaping history, inspiring change, and building communities. Together, we want to highlight their roles as leaders, caretakers, and pillars of our communities.
We emphasised that this theme can be interpreted broadly, encouraging them to think beyond, including depictions of women and what they symbolise, femininity, mother nature, familial structures and the role of women within culture.
